About Griffin Landscape Architecture
Griffin Landscape Architecture offer a full service in landscape architecture in both the private and public sectors from initial design concept to certification of completed works on site. Our aim is to create outstanding, innovative, environmentally responsible landscapes that give value to clients, enjoyment to the end user and satisfaction to us as professionals. The design element of the practice is supported by a service in project management and site supervision. This enables the practice to work with local authorities, architects, engineers, planners, developers and others to achieve dynamic – yet realizable – landscapes.
GLA is a registered practice with ‘The Irish Landscape Institute’ which is affiliated with IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) with our consulting arborist, also an ISA accredited and certified Arborist with the ‘Irish Arboricultural Association’.
GLA have built a strong reputation based on a wide range of commercial, residential, historic conservation and public realm projects throughout Ireland. Our personnel are dedicated and experienced, who are committed to best practice in the planning, design, implementation and management of the landscape through the provision of competent professional advice to our clients. Our staff are fully qualified in landscape architecture, horticulture, environmental law, project management and arboriculture and have significant experience and expertise in these fields.
As well as landscape architectural design, GLA offers consultancy in visual impact assessment, environmental management, landscape management and maintenance planning and arboricultural consultancy services – tree surveys, tree risk assessment, tree and woodland management, and arboricultural impact assessments.
Oisin Griffin _ Principal Landscape Architect
As Principal Landscape Architect and Managing Director, Oisin Griffin and the team at GLA have worked in all areas of the landscape profession including landscape planning, masterplanning, design and project management. Relishing the challenge of site delivery and working with people, Oisin works with clients and teams to develop solutions rooted in the local place and culture, which have a broad and robust economic, social and ecological basis.
Having previously worked in both the public and private sectors, as a Landscape Architect and previously as a Landscape Contractor, Oisin has an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the landscape industry and always strives to achieve the most practical and encompassing landscape outcome. Oisin is a chartered and professional member of the Irish Landscape Institute, with a Degree in Landscape Architecture (UCD), a Masters of Environmental Law & Sustainable Development (QUB) and a Post graduate Diploma in Construction Project Management (TCD).

Sean O’Malley _ Associate Landscape Architect
Seán graduated with a BSc in Landscape Architecture from University College Dublin (UCD) and is a professional member of the Irish Landscape Institute. (ILI) During his time at UCD Seán received a number of Irish & European awards, one of which was the ILI Design Thesis award for the work he did during his final year. The focus of this project was on design of networks of vibrant play-spaces within the urban environment.
Having previously worked in both the public and private sectors as a Landscape Architect, Sean has worked on numerous public realm, commercial and residential schemes throughout Ireland and the UK.
Sean brings a wealth of design creativity and a dynamic energy to all his landscape schemes.
